April Saturday 2nd 2011 6.00pm & Sunday 3rd 2011 9.00am Tales from the Mallee - 2011 National Trust Heritage Festival, Talks, musical items and displays about the heritage of the area. April Saturday 2nd 2011 10.00am West Fest 2011 West Wyalong Skate Park hosts a Music, arts and skate festival Battle of the Bands, Skate Competitions and Market Stalls.

April Tuesday 12th 2011 5.0pm Skate/BMX/Scooter Clinic Taking place at West Wyalong Skate Park.
April 15th through to 29th 2011 (Ladies Day Out) Art Trail, Follow the trail and Pick up an Art Trail Prize Draw Ticket (in a participating store) Vote for your favourite painting to stand a chance of winning a $250 Cash Prize. The Peoples Prize winning artist also receives $250.
April Friday 29th 2011 Ladies Day Out. West Wyalong's big day, this year is also “A Royal Occasion” it's the Royal Wedding Day of William & Kate. Visitors on the day are encouraged to dress for the occasion and join in the Royal festivities planned.
9.00am The day commences, enjoy an early morning coffee or tea, or seek out a Ladies Day Out bag, (a free gift from participating businesses).
10.00am Thom, Dick & Harry's for a cooking demonstration by in-house cook Jackie using KitchenAid products. A perfect chance to see what new products KitchenAid has on offer.
11.00am Bland Bizarre holds a craft demonstration. Bland Bizarre offers handmade articles, souvenirs and home cooking by the members of this association.
11.30am White Magnolia Day Spa holds a demonstration on skin care and applying makeup. There will be plenty of time to hear all about the new products + question time afterwards.
Lunch Time - Visit one of the many lunch venues to satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst.
2.00pm Historic Tattersalls Hotel for the official launch of “Bag Free in 3”. Followed by the Fashion Parade hosted by our Queen for the Day, Mrs Shirley Funnell. These participating businesses will be displaying this season’s fashions and accessories: Pink Velvet, All Occasions, Denim to Lace, Marjan, Pat Kearins Menswear, Wooshi, Broadway Shoes and Temptations Jewellery Accessories Gifts.
3.30pm Sheila at Your Pathway to Health in Church Street demonstrates Juice Plus with tastings.
The day ends in plenty of time to get home, put your feet up and enjoy The Royal Wedding on TV..
May Saturday 14th 2011 Waratah Village Fair - details to follow, Waratah Village Ungarie Road West Wyalong.
There will be hands on workshops, static displays, demonstrations and stalls of all kinds eg. Tie Dying, Colour, Inkle weaving, Sew & Save, Tricot Crochet, Fleeces, Alpaca, Mohair Goats, Mohair Fibre, Spinning, Scumbling, Buttons, Novelty Knitting, Blanket Embroidery, Silk Flower Making, Felting, Style Magazine will be there and much more.
A Knitted Square Race Competition takes place on the day (1.30pm) Plus there are three competitions (in any natural fibre) for prize money of $50 for the winners in each of three categories: 'Happy Feet' (slippers in 2 categories - Novelty & Open), 'Bags' (Emphasis on gold - any fibre plus embelishments. 'Novelty Tea Cosy'.
