Pictured below, the workman (a real artist with the tiles) completes a new slope to the automatic glass doors. The Bland Shire Council has also embarked on planning a gradual Main Street upgrade. Consulting closely with Business West Wyalong they outlined proposals and gathered some enthusiastic feedback from our membership at our monthly meeting in August.

Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday 8th May 2012, starting at 6.00pm at the West Wyalong S&C Club, please feel free to come along, non members welcome. Business West Wyalong is in need of a secretary, this is an unpaid post, a laptop computer is provided. Ideal for student wishing to gain experience to boost a CV. | The Wylong and District Museum now in it's new location in the Old Wyalong Courthouse, opened its doors to the public in April 2011. There were some true and some tall tails marking the occasion from Mr Bernie Kierans mounted on his horse. The Museum is located on the main highway opposite the Hot Glass Gallery in the centre of Wyalong. Run by the Bland District Historical Society, it is open 7 days a week from 2pm to 5pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children. | |||||||||||||
